Warranty Policy

Effective Date: September 6, 2026

This policy applies to products and services offered by COVEX Carbon LLC (“COVEX Carbon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

For questions regarding this policy, contact us at support@covexcarbon.com.

COVEX Carbon stands behind the quality and workmanship of our products. This Limited Warranty covers qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use, subject to the terms below.

Warranty Period

Unless a product listing or written project agreement provides different coverage:

Structural & Manufacturing Workmanship — 2 Years

COVEX Carbon warrants the structural workmanship of the component for two years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

This includes qualifying manufacturing defects such as:

  • Delamination attributable to manufacturing
  • Bond failure attributable to manufacturing
  • Structural defects caused by the manufacturing process
  • Material or manufacturing failures that prevent the component from performing its intended function

Cosmetic Finish — 1 Year

COVEX Carbon warrants the original finish of the component against qualifying manufacturing defects for one year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

This may include abnormal:

  • Clear-coat failure
  • Peeling
  • Significant premature discoloration
  • Significant finish defects attributable to the manufacturing or finishing process

Normal wear, rock chips, scratches, environmental contamination, impact damage, and deterioration caused by improper care are not manufacturing defects.

Carbon Fiber Appearance

Carbon fiber components are manufactured using woven reinforcement and may exhibit minor variations in weave alignment, pattern, texture, fiber positioning, or appearance.

These characteristics are inherent to manufacturing composite components and reasonable variation is not considered a defect.

Significant cosmetic defects, abnormal distortion, substantial weave defects, or finish defects present at delivery should be reported to COVEX Carbon for review.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

  • Improper installation
  • Accidents, collisions, impacts, or road debris

  • Modification, cutting, drilling, sanding, refinishing, painting, or alteration not authorized by COVEX Carbon
  • Installation on an incompatible vehicle
  • Vehicle modifications that create improper fitment or loading
  • Improper care or use of inappropriate chemicals
  • Excessive heat beyond the product's intended application
  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper storage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by an installer, repair facility, third party, or shipping carrier
  • Use outside the product's represented or reasonably intended application

Motorsport & Competition Use

Unless COVEX Carbon expressly represents a product in writing as designed for a particular motorsport or competition application, damage or failure resulting from racing, competition, track incidents, off-road use, or loads substantially beyond normal intended street use may not be covered.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, contact COVEX Carbon and provide:

  • Name and original order information
  • Photographs of the complete component
  • Close-up photographs of the affected area
  • A description of the issue
  • Installation information when relevant
  • Any additional information reasonably requested to evaluate the claim

Do not repair, modify, or continue using a component that may have a structural defect before contacting COVEX Carbon.

COVEX Carbon may require inspection of the component before approving a warranty claim.

Warranty Resolution

If COVEX Carbon determines that a product has a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, COVEX Carbon may, as appropriate:

  • Repair the component
  • Refinish the component
  • Replace the component with the same or a reasonably equivalent product
  • Provide another mutually agreed resolution

The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, product availability, and whether repair is reasonably practical.

Expedited shipping, international shipping, special freight, removal, installation, vehicle downtime, rental vehicles, and other incidental expenses are not covered unless expressly agreed in writing.

Original Purchaser

This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable unless COVEX Carbon expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Proof of purchase may be required.
